Artworks

Dennis Candy Artworks contains pictures created by him using classical Western artistic techniques inspired by South Asian and particularly Sri Lankan culture, nature and people.  He also considers himself a follower of the visual artistic tradition of the Sri Lankan polymath creator Lionel Wendt and the painter David Paynter.

He says that there are no theories, texts or philosophy behind his art.  However it is said that very picture tells a story and a picture is worth a thousand words so he lets his art speak for itself or you may create your own words if you wish.
